krumkake – a very large, thin traditional Scandinavian cookie prepared by pouring batter into an appliance much like a waffle iron and then rolling the warm cookie around a cone form

obsessed with the fine art of cookie baking, i also adore my wonderful husband, my delightful family, and all the beautiful hound dogs we’ve had over the years, our generous and supportive group of friends, my two ‘home’ cities of nyc and seattle, and everything christmas-related. oh yes, and chocolate.
i believe that if more people sat around their kitchen table sharing a meal with family and friends, this world would be a gentler, friendlier and kinder place.
…and topping that meal off with a batch of homemade cookies would certainly bring the world one step closer to world peace.
